My background

I'm a Software Engineer with about 7 years of experience, graduated from the Colombian School of Engineering first of my class.

I start working in 2005 for ITconsultings , where i was a java developer (J2EE). During one year we developed an application for Carulla (supermarket) call center to take orders for making deliveries. With this application sales were increased in about 400% (within this channel) and complains rate decrease from 2 daily to 2 weekly (in the first month). In 2006 I work for Procalculo Prosis as a java developer, procalculo is the biggest Colombian company specialized in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I was part of the team that develops de first version of http://mapascolombia.igac.gov.co/ using IBM Websphere portal.

In 2007 I decided to become independent, with a good old friend we created a company called Business Logic, I was the CEO so I start studying Management and IT, but a had different roles from developer to project manager in different projects. Our company last for about 3 years, It was a great experience.

From 2010 I've been working freelance, at the same i was the cofounder of Sistemas Sostenibles a company specialized in Geographic Information Systems with opensource technology.
